Minutes of a Meeting of the Planning Committee

held in the Epworth Hall at 6.30pm on Monday 7 January 2013

  1. 2. Minutes of the Meeting held on 17 December 2012

2.1       The minutes of the meeting held on 17 December 2012 had been circulated with the agenda.

2.2       Proposed Cllr Harwood, Seconded Cllr Lane, RESOLVED unanimously that the minutes of the meeting held on 17 December 2012 be accepted as a true record.

*              12/02673/LBWS – Marsh Court – masonry and window repairs and rainwater drainage alterations              no objection

*              12/02596/FULLS – 2 Redhill Cottages, Winchester Road – erect three bed dwelling – objection on                the grounds of poor access along a bridle way (Clarendon Way), risk of flooding, no firm indication               in plans on sewage disposal and overlooking adjacent properties

*              12/02702/LBWS – Hayes Farmhouse, Romsey Road – thatched chimney system – no objection

  • 12/02023/VARS – Sunnyside View, Stockbridge Road – proposal to lay new office building foundations only for time being – no objection.Permitted.
  • 12/02174/LBWS – Marsh Court – repair of garden structures and replacing lost gates and decorative elements – no objection.Permitted.
  • 12/02372/TREES – The Old Vicarage, Vicarage Lane – reduce 3 Yews by 5m to height of neighbouring house – no objection – withdrawn.
  • 12/02323/FULLS – 1 Palace Close – two storey rear extension and elevation alterations including chimney – objection – overdevelopment, out of keeping and not sympathetic to neighbours – refused as being out of character.
  • 12/02422/FULLS – 25 Eldon Road – two storey side extension to create WC and porch with bedroom and en-suite above – no objection.Permitted.
  • 12/02479/TREES – Smiths Place, Stockbridge Road – fell 2 Apple and 3 Horse Chestnut – unable to comment, insufficient information.Permitted.
  • 12/02552/TREES – Brookvale, Muss Lane – fell one Lawson – no objection.Permitted.
