83.2 Proposed Cllr Lane, Seconded Cllr Sutton, RESOLVED with Cllr Curtis abstaining (absent) that the minutes of the meeting held on 3 July 2017 be accepted as a true record.

87. Report on Recent Planning Applications
• 17/01068/TPOS – Winton Cottage, Romsey Road – remove Wellingtonia. Given the existence of two differing reports on the state of the tree, the views expressed by the members of the public present and the fact that experts from TVBC were visiting the site the following day, councillors decided not to make any recommendations at this time. Subsequently refused as the tree was considered a landmark feature and expert opinion contradictory on root damage

• 17/01344/LBWS – Haywain House, 6 Parsonage Barns, Church Road – replace ground floor doors and windows – support. Permitted

There being no further business, the Chairman closed the meeting at 6.50pm
