Driven entirely by the views of the Parishioners. relevant legislation and guided by both the National Planning Policy Framework and the polices within Test Valley Borough’s Local Plan and a wealth of analysis of data provided by a number of bodies as well as commissioned work, King’s Somborne Parish Council working with others in the community have reached a key phase of the Neighbourhood Development Plan process.

After a two-year programme of activity which has involved 18 public meetings/workshops, 41 public meetings of the NDP Steering Group, monthly updates in both the Parish Council Meetings and Parish Magazine The Gauntlet during the Period as well as leaflet drops, King’s Somborne Parish Council is seeking feedback (details on this page) on the pre-submission version of its Neighbourhood Development Plan

The Consultation Period

The consultation period ran for 6 weeks from 10th May and closed at midnight on 22nd June and members of the public and other interested parties were able to review the Plan and make comments/provide feedback which were then be taken on board before submitting the final Plan to Test Valley Borough Council.
